Friend of EvergreenHealth Foundation receives 2025 Community Service Award

The EvergreenHealth Hospital Board of Commissioners presented longtime EvergreenHealth Foundation donor Mike Hallman with the 2025 Community Service Award to recognize his transformative philanthropy and care for the health of our community.

“Mike exemplifies EvergreenHealth’s mission to advance the health of our community, and with this award, the Board has expressed its sincere appreciation for his generous support, thoughtful partnership and lasting contributions to patients, families, clinicians and the broader community,” according to a news release from EvergreenHealth.

Mike and his late wife, Mary Kay Hallman, championed EvergreenHealth for more than 30 years. The Hallman family has given generously in support of meaningful projects for the community-owned hospital. The Center for Clinical Excellence, acquiring a new 3T MRI, the support for the hospital’s first integrated behavioral health clinic and the Michael and Mary Kay Hallman Interventional Cardiovascular & Radiology Suite were all made possible by the Hallman family’s philanthropy.
