Clinical Excellence at EvergreenHealth
The world-class care at EvergreenHealth has garnered the hospital national recognition for the safety, quality and cost-effectiveness of care. Clinical excellence and philanthropy go hand-in-hand, and EvergreenHealth Foundation has supported the purchases of state-of-the-art technology and equipment, training and professional development, research tools and more resources to support patient care.
EvergreenHealth patients and donors, Chris and Margery Yetman, decided recently to increase their giving to EvergreenHealth Foundation with the goal of achieving meaningful change for the hospital. When the Yetman family learned we were searching for partners to support the purchase of new, enhanced MRI technology, they donated the seed money to get the project started.
In 2022, local philanthropists upgraded the hospital’s existing linear accelerator and purchased a second, enhanced machine for our radiation oncology department, giving patients like Kirstin Greig of Sammamish access to the most cutting-edge care, close to home.
