EvergreenHealth’s Neuroscience & Spine Institute combines a patient-centered, comprehensive care model with powerful medicine to create life-changing care for patients with conditions that impact the brain, nervous system and spine.

Along with the most advanced neuroscience specialists in the region, all the ancillary services a patient may need are in one location. Having easy access to these health services – specialty nursing, specialty physical therapy, OT speech therapy, neuropsychology as well as social work support – positively impacts health outcomes and the overall well-being and of a patient.  With a comprehensive care model, it allows for more advanced therapies – that require additional support services – to be used to treat patients including deep brain stimulation and clinical research-based therapies.

Our commitment to patient-centered care also led us to be certified as a Comprehensive Stroke Center, one of four in the Puget Sound and the only on the Eastside. In 2023, EvergreenHealth was named the #1 Stroke Care Center in Washington by Healthgrades, recognizing our exceptional patient outcomes in stroke intervention. Philanthropy paved the way for EvergreenHealth’s stroke program to be recognized among the best, including an investment in an interventional bi-plane suite in 2018.
