Employee Financial Assistance Fund

EvergreenHealth established an Employee Financial Assistance Fund as part of our commitment to support the well-being of our community’s frontline heroes. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, or personal struggles, many people in our community are experiencing hardship – including the families of those who serve on the frontlines at EvergreenHealth. Employees experiencing financial hardship are eligible to apply for assistance. Upon review by committee, employees may receive financial support with average award amounts close to $700. Each member of EvergreenHealth’s leadership group made personal contributions to seed the fund initially, but current applications for assistance exceed the funding available.

Never has this been more clearly displayed than throughout this pandemic where EvergreenHealth staff, facing an unknown, deadly virus, stepped in for families who could not be present to hold hands and provide comfort in the most fragile moments of someone’s life.
